Terms of Service

Version 2 · published 6 October 2026

These terms apply to everyone who works on Asahi Arcade projects or uses the Asahi Arcade console. Section 2 also applies to anyone who applies to join through the console. By agreeing, you accept them for as long as you're part of the studio, and some parts (confidentiality and ownership of work) continue after you leave.

1. Who we are

"Asahi Arcade", "the studio", "we" and "us" mean Asahi Arcade. "You" means the person agreeing to these terms.

2. Using the console, and Roblox

The console signs you in with your Roblox account. Using it, or applying to join through it, means you also agree to the following.

  • You must follow the Roblox Terms of Use and Community Standards while you use the console.
  • These terms are between you and Asahi Arcade only. They are not an agreement with Roblox Corporation.
  • Asahi Arcade and the console are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Roblox Corporation.
  • Roblox is not responsible or liable for anyone's use of, or access to, the console.
  • Roblox has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the console.
  • You waive and release any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses and expenses against Roblox arising from or related to the console.
  • How we collect and use your information is described in the Privacy Notice.

3. Your role

You take part in the studio as a volunteer or freelance contributor. These terms are not an employment contract. Your rank in the AsahiArcade Roblox group reflects your role, and the studio may change it at any time.

4. Confidentiality

While you're in the studio you'll see things the public doesn't: unreleased games and features, designs, assets, source code, analytics, revenue, plans, internal discussions, and other members' personal details.

  • Keep all of it private. Don't share, post, stream, screenshot or leak it outside the studio unless a manager tells you it's public.
  • Use it only for your studio work.
  • This continues after you leave, until the studio makes the information public itself.

5. Work you make for the studio

  • Everything you create for Asahi Arcade projects belongs to the studio: code, scripts, models, builds, art, UI, audio, designs, text and ideas. By agreeing to these terms you transfer your rights in that work to the studio, and you waive any moral rights to it as far as the law allows.
  • You keep what you made before joining, or outside studio projects. If you bring such work into a studio project, you give the studio a permanent, free licence to use it in that project.
  • Once a game or feature is publicly released, you may show your own contribution in a portfolio. Credit yourself for your part only, and never show unreleased work.

6. Other people's content

Only use assets, code, fonts, audio and other material you have the right to use. That means your own work, studio assets, or properly licensed material. Never use stolen or leaked work. If you use AI tools to produce work for the studio, tell your lead.

7. Payment

  • You're paid only for work the studio has agreed to pay for, at the agreed rate. Agreements and payouts are recorded in the console.
  • Robux payouts are made through the AsahiArcade group to your Roblox account. Other methods are by agreement.
  • You're responsible for any tax on what you're paid.

8. Leaving

Either you or the studio can end your involvement at any time. When you leave:

  • your console access ends with your group rank;
  • delete or return any confidential material you still have;
  • sections 4 and 5 still apply.

9. Age

You must meet Roblox's own age requirements. If you're under 18, or under the age of adulthood where you live, a parent or guardian should read these terms with you before you agree.

10. Changes to these terms

When these terms change, the new version is published in the console and you'll be asked to agree again before you continue. Earlier versions stay on record.

11. Contact
